SPRING
2023
Special Opening: A corner of Sicily to take refuge and relax
We have another very important opening scheduled for next April.
This is not a novelty 2023 for Interlude, but the result of a project that we continue again from 2022 and that is finally going to start again!
The Feudo del Biviere Country Retreat, within the Integral Reserve of Santa Ninfa, after the transfer of ownership to Dolce Olio s.r.l., has chosen to rely again on the Hotel Management of Interlude.
"We were present at the first inauguration of the Feudo del Biviere and we immediately shared its values with the old property - continues Laura Lo Mascolo - Even this great return fills us with pride, because we have always considered the structure a jewel with great potential still unexpressed. We are already working on a whole series of news and exclusive services".
This is what we read on TravelNoStop in March 2022.
To date, the great challenge and the renovations have finally been completed and the hotel will officially open its doors on 1 April 2023. The hotel will open its doors.
The promise of the Feudo is therefore to offer relaxation and refuge.
Relaxation and recovery from stress because the absence of the noise of everyday life, the presence of rhythms and sounds dictated by nature have a beneficial effect. In fact, immersing yourself in nature allows you to lower the concentrations of the stress hormone in the body, strengthens the immune system, regulates blood pressure and heartbeat, decreases cholesterol levels.
In this sense, therefore, it is a refuge where you can find yourself, where you can find your balance and detoxify from the frenetic and hyper-technological rhythms of everyday life.
The Feudo del Biviere was conceived and designed to respect Nature: each solution has been designed to be eco-sustainable and generate the least possible impact.
The Feudo del Biviere is one of the few structures in the world to arise within an Integral Reserve managed by Legambiente.
Large windows, balconies and terraces to fully enjoy the view of the vineyards and olive groves in the two karst valleys that frame the resort.
This and much more is what awaits you at the Feudo del Biviere.
Silence, nature and the slow passage of time are the basis of a recipe for regeneration of the body, mind and spirit to rediscover and regenerate themselves.
Here, you can rediscover yourself, your need for all-round relaxation.
Nature is the perfect setting for your experience of relaxation and taste.
But the Feudo del Biviere, today, in its new guise is much more.
The story of the family that belongs to the company Dolce Olio srl, tells an important part of our island, Sicily and the living conditions of our ancestors.
Italian emigration, and in particular, Sicilian, in the United States of America is undoubtedly a complex and unique phenomenon.
It is in fact a historical phenomenon that, from the economic, social and cultural point of view, has completely changed the internal structure of both Sicily and the United States, undoubtedly contributing to the development of the identity of both cultures.
The Feudo del Biviere is the home of Nonno Vincenzo, the realization of his dream!
Nonno Vincenzo, is today known worldwide as Papa Vince, a well-known brand of products strictly made in Sicily, starting from what was the work of Papa Vince: oil.
Papa Vince is therefore the story of the past that lived the Feudo, when it was not yet in its current meaning and from there wants to start again to tell a new story enriched by the presence of the experiences of each guest.
The Feudo del Biviere is therefore not only the ideal starting point to discover a part of Sicily, often little beaten but extremely significant from the cultural historical point of view. We are talking about the Belice Valley, famous not only for the earthquake that destroyed it and whose signs it bears, but also for contemporary art, Greek culture, spas, slow food centers etc.
Here are two of the most important testimonies of this place: on the one hand the contemporary history, on the other the Greek history:
- The Grande Cretto, known to everyone as Cretto di Burri, is one of the largest and most extraordinary works of land art in Europe!
- The Selinunte Archaeological Park is the largest archaeological area in Europe. It has a remarkable archaeological heritage, characterized by many temples, of impressive Doric architecture.
